This is good info. Thank you for posting. I started out only working online. So, I ask clients for pay in advance through my website. Now that I do some in person work, I ask for full payment through the website in advance or at least half. Then they can login and pay the balance through my website when I see them in person. It’s just how I’ve done some of my financial records by having everything go through the website. But that payment is through PayPal, and sometimes PayPal is whacky.

Whacky PayPal: I had to call Pay Pal today with what I thought was a simple question. All my verification info was fine: I gave the last 4 of my social, and my phone number I called with matches the number in their system. For some reason the Pay Pal representative kept asking me how to spell my name and even said it was not how he saw it in the system. I told him over and over that besides me seeing it in the system exactly as I was spelling it with only first and last name, I know how to spell my name. I had to hang up. I called right back and got someone who said he didn’t know what the heck the other man was talking about. This isn’t the first time I’ve had something weird that made absolutely no sense with PayPal.
