I personally appreciate being straightforward. I like Silla’s response.
I usually say something along the lines of “My schedule and days are tightly and carefully booked . I’m happy to assist you and focus on _______________________ (chat, that video, your book idea, your questions, session questions….whatever they are hinting on) if you would like to make an appointment.
You may not (yet) book consultations, but might start considering doing so. I had to begin doing this a few years back and some clients are very happy to book an hour to chat or consult or whatever, when they don’t particularly want a session, or do not want a session yet.
I don’t bill myself as a psychic or reader either, but often some of that happens! Sometimes it is Dolores coming through so incredibly strongly I cannot ignore the information. SO- I describe my consults as “intuitive consultations.” And there we go with labels and words again, but for me this works. If they want or need an explanation I basically say exactly this: “I don’t bill myself as a psychic or reader, but often your guides or my guides may provide information.”
I quickly learned half hour consults don’t work very well, they go by too quickly and people tend to expect you to go over, so I only offer one hour blocks of consulting.
