Clinical hypnotherapy is only covered in hospital settings, there is a push by many hypnotherapy schools to classify it as an adjunct modality that can be prescribed by medical doctors – but in most cases, it is not covered. It can also be covered if used by licensed clinical psychologists or psychiatrists as a part of their mental health treatment. No ‘alternative” modalities are covered by insurance.
By the way, the insurance pays very little to the therapist – only about 40-50$ an hour or so to my knowledge, most psychotherapists prefer to take clients who pay out of pocket, so I doubt Alba would take insurance even if it was possible.
