Unless a client pays cash, in person, or mails you a check, it’s hard (impossible, probably) to avoid fees. Will and I price accordingly and just absorb the fee. We use Square (in person and through our website) and Venmo primarily. Sometimes CashApp or Paypal. Square allows the money to go directly into our checking acct. Otherwise, you have to figure that out – ie, get a Paypal card in order to access the money.
The only time the fees get on my nerves is when we facilitate events in our space. We collect the payments ahead of time for the guest practitioner, but when clients cancel and we have to refund, we are hit two times. We have discussed putting a clause in our information stating that refunds will have a fee deducted, but we haven’t done it yet :#
