Hope you can find someone like me (native English speaker with good writing skills, extensive knowledge of French, interest in the subject, and maybe a francophone partner to explain any tricky bits).Â
But definitely, yes, don’t just publish the DeepL version without a review/revision. It makes me sad when I read books that need another editor, no matter how interesting they are.
