Hi Everyone,

Thanks for reporting the problem. Can someone confirm for us please what is specifically happening so we can report it to the support team accurately. Here’s what I’m guessing as I’m not experiencing the problem…please confirm or correct.

– you get an email notification about a post on the Forum and you click on the link
– you log onto the Forum
– you read the post but leave the Forum open on your device
– you go back to your email and click on the next email notification to read a new post
– the Forum opens but forces you to log in before taking you to the post

Is that correct?

Can you also share what type of device you’re using and browser/os please as the support team always asks us that while trying to diagnose the problem. Thx and sorry you’re having to deal with this.

I am having the same problem of being asked to login every time, too.
Lauren, you are correct in your assumption.
This happening on both my Google Pixel 6 (android), and on my laptop (Dell, using Chrome browser)

Yes Lauren, thats what happening! Every time asked to log in, even though i leave the box Stay Logged in ticked.

Ok I messed around and when I go to browsing history click on private then click again, then click on done, it corrected the problem. I may have clicked on private by mistake. Private doesn’t remember where you were last. Hope that helps!❤️

I’m on a Dell using Chrome, Version 102.0.5005.115 (Official Build) (64-bit). Does the same thing. I don’t have a private checkbox, and my history is tracking.

Same here, when I open from a Samsung android phone or laptop, using google. I click on an emailnotification. And it will ask for a password.

ok…the platform support team has adjusted the length of time allowed between platform access which they claim should help this problem. For those of you experiencing this problem, log completely out of the Forum, shut down your browser (on mobile devices, too…upswipe to close it usually works) so that this change is reflected on your device.
