    Dear Light Workers:

I started doing BQH for free to obtain experience and it was
    an amazing experience! My clients were all excited and happy with their results;
unfortunately, only two of my clients were kind enough to write recommendations,
all the others promised, but did not. I set up my own website and I started
advertising with Google Ads. However, since I started charging, even when I
have visitors to my site, I have not had not one client!

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I love helping people!
These sessions have been the most rewarding experiences I have ever had, this is my calling, and I want to get it started, but I don’t know how.

    This is my website: https://new5thatlantis.com/

I would love to have your ideas and suggestions!

    Love and light,

    Tammy

Hi Tammy! I only had a chance to look at your website for a few minutes but I did have some feedback that I hope will be helpful. Keep in mind of course that I’m no expert so can only give you my personal thoughts and impressions. The font type on your home page is nice – I recommend that you keep that same font throughout your website. The font used in the “About me” tab and others is very difficult to read. I would also expand upon the “What is BQH” tab and perhaps even include info such as “how to prepare” and similar info. My website is Soul-Connections.org if you want some ideas. Other than that – it’s really marketing. Make fliers and take them/intro yourself to local metaphysical/alternative healing locations. Have business cards so they too can be displayed. Post in FB under applicable groups and maybe start your own FB page. I personally don’t care for FB so haven’t done this but everyone is different and social media IS very good word of mouth. Send your clients a link to your profile for giving you feedback easier – their more likely to fill out a provided link than they are to draft something themselves. Do a special rate or even free in exchange for a review. Go to/start meet ups. Offer group regressions via your website where they can sign up and do them online – market it all over and also can start a Meet Up group for group regressions. Their are similar and more ideas within the BQH class material so go on back to those ideas too 🙂 You’ll be just fine … just keep moving forward and it’ll happen before you know it. <3

One other thought …. you can also do a special whereby if a client refers someone to you, they get XYZ (ie: a referral fee).

    Hi Tammy!

I have copied and pasted below a post from LONG ago. It is still full of great information but a couple of things have changed because the world HAS CHANGED.

ONE- Social Media. You must be active in social media both as a creator and presenter of information and also a member of groups. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Quora….even Twitter.

TWO- Video video and video. And don’t forget the VIDEO. Youtube, facebook and on your website.

Look, having a website and only a website and hoping that will get clients? Its like having an electronic business card….. Putting up a website only and expecting people to show up is like tacking up a business card in the grocery store and hoping people pick it up! Can it happen, yes… but not the best thing to get noticed.

THREE – Our Directory is like a great big BILLBOARD… for all of you.. rather than a grocery store bulletin lboard….and you can use it to your advantage!!!

I suggest you should use our link in YOUR website, you should add articles to your profile on the Directory… you can submit articles to our main blog. We actually take a lot of the SEO hard work out of the picture for you. BQH and “quantum healing” is getting some nice notice by the interwebs!

Below are more suggestion- but I cannot express enough how important the videos are…..

(This post was originally written in 2012. It remains valid and I have added updates where appropriate)

I am a firm believer in the universal law of what you put out you will receive back.

I have a very full appointment schedule. This did not happen by accident and although, yes, my contact information on DoloresCannon.com is displayed on the Practitioner page along with the other moderators of this forum, I promise you, this is not where the great majority of my session appointments come from. (update in 2015 I am no longer listed or recognized on the official website in any way, quite the opposite.)

I work my business and I promote myself locally and on social media in both Austin and Wichita. This took some time and effort. (Update in 2018- I used to commute back and forth from Kansas to Texas and no longer do this either)

I have MEETUP groups in both areas. I hold free information and entertaining meetings in person, in real life where people can meet me. I bring Dolores Books. Sometimes I bring my computer and show one of her youtube videos or other clips. Last night I showed the Gregg Braden clip of the Chinese medicineless hospital and the woman whose bladder tumor disappears in 3 minutes. Most had never seen that clip. I believe it supports the idea of Quantum Healing and instantaneous healing.

I talk about my sessions, I tell stories. I pick a subject and encourage discussions. I offer free brief group regressions at the end of the presentations. I have a collection of Dolores books that I offer for sale. I tell them they can save on postage if they buy them from me right then and there. You too can contact Joy in the office and arrange to have books on consignment. You can make a few dollars doing this…you can become the local Dolores expert too, just like me.

I contact OTHER metaphysical groups and attend their meetings. I sit by people and we talk. I have my cards ready to hand out or just mention my work and plant that seed in conversations that come up. Sometimes I am a GUEST speaker at other groups. For Example, I regularly am a guest speaker at a Women’s Shamanic Drumming circle in Austin. Where they usually do a drum journey, I lead them on an extended group regression. Sometimes these members remember and recommend me to friends in the future. Getting your face out there in real life is important in regards to trust and allowing others to feel your energy…,.

I have had meetings at my home, an empty conference room at a business, local library and a back room of a cafe. I always book appointments after those meetings.

I had another meeting last night. I had 16 people attend. My subject was “The Evolving Human” also CORe healing, another modality I have learned and speak about. I talked about my sessions of the last week and the Shift. I talked about the new Convoluted 4 book. I sold 3 books. I booked 4 confirmed sessions and I have three people getting back to me after checking my open dates with their own calendars. How did these people find me? Primarily the MEETUP.com group. Others were former clients who brought friends or family to meet me.

Some read my blog or website. (Update in 2018 YouTube has far surpassed blogs and websites! Video is where it is AT!)

I market my practice, my business, regularly. In the distant past I tried simply sitting at home and waited for people to find me, it did not work.

Have you given presentations? Have you started a group? Have you contacted other groups and offered to talk about Quantum Healing? Do you have cards or information in your purse or car to hand out if the opportunity arises? Do you write a blog? Do you have a website? Blogging platforms are FREEEEEEE. Its one of the easiest ways to begin to market yourself. (Update – VIDEO, cannot stress this enough, want more sessions? Do videos! YouTube or Facebook LIVE)

Most areas have local health fairs or such where you can set up a table. Have you considered that way of marketing?

Have you tried bartering with other holistic practitioners? Traded for say, a reiki session or a tapping session or a massage? Its great to network with others who are interested in health and healing.

Something else to consider is this: Do you contribute here, on our Forum? Or do you only come here to read and receive the energy and contributions of others? You are not required to contribute, of course, but I suggest to you that when you do, in any significant way at all, even with the smallest comments or observations or sharing of parts of your own work, you plant seeds for receiving in your own practice.

I’ll leave you with one more suggestion. Do you program your future appointments or ask for help from the SC? If not, I suggest you try. Ask to be inspired about how you can spread the word about your practice. Imagine giving talks to full rooms and then people standing in line to book appointments with you. Create that reality.

I promise you, it is possible.

Hope some of this helps those of you wanting to be busier.

    Much love 😡
    Candace

    Hi Tammy,

My initial thought after going through all the pages of your website is ‘wow! So much STUFF!’ Your BQH/reiki information is swamped by a whole load of ET and disclosure info, that may put clients off. Your experiences on your about me page, although fascinating, are a bit ‘woo woo’ for a lot of clients, and I definitely think less is more when your primary focus is offering healing services. I personally would stick to
    *what services you offer
    *how much they cost
    *what conditions they can help
    *your contact details.

Your clients don’t need to know that you were travelling multidimensionally at 8 years old. They want to know how YOU can help THEM with their problems. Even although I’m a contactee myself, I did not feel that I would want an appointment with you from the information on your site as it was all about YOU and your interests and focus. I think clients like a neutral approach-I have had some clients where I have discussed my experiences with, but I know the vast majority would be either uncomfortable or disinterested. Keeping it short, sweet, neutral and relevant to appeal to more people is the key, I think.

Could you have a separate website website with all your ET links and info on it? You could always add a link to it on your BQH site.

Just my opinion, but I hope this is helpful to you.

    Much love,

    Louise

A thought occurs to me. Offer a free or low cost session if the person agrees to let you ask several of your own questions of their HS. Then ask their HS for guidance on this and maybe other things. Down deep everyone knows every thing.

    @Candace_CrawGoldman, @Louis_Kakinda, @Christine_Shanesy
Thank you so much! all your suggestions, you have given me lots of ideas to work with.

Candace, you have pointed out exactly what I need to do, I have tried to advertise myself on Metaphysical stores in the area, but they are too small, I will have to travel a little farther and leave my cards and flyers. Furthermore, I work full time and it does not give me much time to share or to watch some of the conference you have, for instance, I missed today one, even though I remembered and had it noted in my calendar. However, I will start attending the Meetup groups and try to advertise the way you have suggested, it makes perfect sense. I will follow your advice step by step. You are my role model.

Christine, thank you for your good suggestions, I sincerely appreciate it.

Also, I want to thank you, Louis for your input, which is so accurate. I am all over the place because I get excited to share all my ideas and it is too much. You are right. I will be following your advice and make changes in my website.

Thank you all again, for the time you took to share your ideas and I need to make a big list and start working! You really inspired me and gave so many ideas to work on!

    Thank you all and blessings!!
    Love
    Tammy

Why are you paying for Google Ads? This is mostly for selling a large volume of popular products or programs online. You can just use Google Local Business – which is free, as long as you have a local physical address, and you can add all your services to one listing (Reiki, Theta Healing, Past life regression etc). It is a bit confusing when you have a lot of different services, you might need to have a description of all these sessions and what a client can expect and how they can benefit from them. I doubt anybody is looking for BQH on Google, as it is a new method, even QHHT clients usually come from official listings, as people who read Dolores Cannon’s books go on her website first, they rarely google “QHHT+your city”. I think to get clients for BQH online sessions you need a lot of videos on youtube and popularise this method, as it is not well known. You might also want to participate in local psychic fairs and do group sessions or lectures. There are A LOT of national/international level websites for all well-known modalities, as many famous authors do online sessions…Your best bet to get clients is to advertise locally, Atlanta is a huge city, plus a transportation hub, and for something as popular as Reiki you might even add “Alpharetta” as there are many Reiki practitioners in Atlanta area, so clients would prefer somebody in short driving distance…You also need to tell exactly your location, as convenient transportation and parking is always an issue, and if people are passing through Atlanta – they need to know that it is Atlanta suburb and how to get there on public transportation, as they might not be renting cars while staying in Atlanta. How far are you from nearest Marta station? Is there a bus or they should get Uber? Definitely add “Atlanta” and ‘Alpharetta” to your site and keywords.

I found it! I am registering there now. The one good thing about working is that I can type while I work.LOL

Just my honest opinion…. When I click on a practitioner site that has ads running, it’s an immediate turn off for me. And I won’t even read their stuff.

Just google “Google local business add listing” and follow instructions. This also gets you on Google maps. They send you a card to your address and you go back to your listing and put the code from the card, this allows to publish it as they want to verify your address. You can only have 1 listing per address – so add everything to it, and get a catchy name like ‘New Atlantis Healing Center” or something, you need a good keyword in the name, “healing” is a popular keyword. There are some drawbacks – you will get a lot of spam calls, plus your clients can rate you and write reviews – so any disgruntled customer can lower your rating, you need to have a lot of 5-star ratings and good reviews, otherwise it can backfire…You can also put yourself on Yelp.com – this is also free if you do not want a featured listing, featured ads cost money. But Yelp is nowhere as popular as Google. You can also do free local listings on Yahoo and other browsers, it will take a bit of work. Google ” Free local business listings” and see what you can find.

By the way – why do you say “5th Atlantis”? If this is important – you need to have the whole story of Atlantis on your site and explanation of 5th Atlantis… “New Atlantis” is often used as a metaphor for Atlanta – both the name and futuristic skyline, you can capitalize on this.

@Irina_Nola The name is because Atlantis had before and I feel that the Event is creating the New Atlantis when we go to the 5th Plane. It may sound strange, maybe I should change it completely.

    Hi Irina,

While you’re right that BQH is a new term to be searched for – it IS being searched. The bqh page on the directory gets the most traffic, second only to the home page. So, people are looking for bqh as a modality. A good way to see if people are searching for a term is to start typing it in google…if it appears in autocomplete it’s being searched. (although bqh is a stock market abbreviation so I’d search ‘beyond quantum healing’)
I have to disagree with you about keyword + location searches – like qhht + location. That kind of keyword is highly relevant for SEO. Adding a location to your keywords is called geo-modifying and it changes the way google sees your business and ranks it on the page results.
Keywords with geo-modifiers have the best RIO (return on investment) because people who are looking for something + location already know they want it vs. those who are just looking for general information.
We customize the SEO for every single member page for not only the more general keywords but also geo-modified keywords to help boost relevance for searches. Here’s a pretty good article about why adding location to keywords can be helpful: http://blog.whitesharkmedia.com/geo-modifiers-for-keyword-selection-in-seo/
There are sooooo many variables that go into getting a site on that coveted first google page. Age of site, how often is content created, and is it created regularly, market competition, etc. Here’s great article by ahrefs about ranking in googles top ten: https://ahrefs.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-rank/
search quantum healers…we’re on page 1 : ) it’s taken a lot of work to get there, and we’re still working on upping our SEO game to help searching clients connect with all our wonderful practitioners.

Hey everyone in case your tech sensitive eyes glazed over with some of the above information, I wanted to be sure you caught this line-

We customize the SEO for every single member page for not only the more general keywords but also geo-modified keywords to help boost relevance for searches.

Here is what that means in actual practice…When you create a listing on our Directory a number of actions are triggered. Most of them are NOT automatic, most of them @Directory_Admin does on your behalf.

What she does is go to your profile, check over the info you have added and she customizes it for you/your location so you have the best chance to be found!

This steady constant customization not only assists you PERSONALLY, but all of us COLLECTIVELY as our Directory steadily climbs ever higher in visibility and relevance for us all.
