Affiliate / Referral Program in PayPal

Dear beautiful souls,I want to start an affiliate/referral program where my friends and other professionals find clients for me…they get a % of fee and clients get a discount. Something similar as BQH Academy offers… $xx to the person who refers and xx% discount to student, and a discount code is set up which identifies who referred the student.
Can you please advise, how this affiliate/referral program can be set up in PayPal? Is this available out-of-the-box or an integration is required? If so, which integrated service is best for this?Please help me here or you can send an email at [email protected].

You can’t do it directly in PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-create-a-discount-code-or-coupon-code-for-my-paypal-buttons-ts1512); you need a third-party shopping cart which you would integrate with PayPal.
Do you have a website? I’m most familiar with WordPress and the WooCommerce shopping cart. A quick search of the WordPress plugin repository for “affiliate woocommerce” yields this. A good place to start.

Maybe the admin of this forum will tell us what they use. But if you’re not using the same shopping cart software, it wouldn’t be so relevant.

Thanks so much @Heather_Holm I’ll check the woocommerce. I use “WP Easy PayPal Payment”, since my current payment structure is easy so it does the job. Using the same cart and affiliate plugins is a great advice, thank you.
