Anyone want to join a Youtube support group?

Hi. For those who are trying to grow their YouTube channel or even just begin one, I and three others have just started a small Whatsapp group for this purpose. It’s really just friendly support group, e.g. subscribing and liking/commenting on each others videos or shorts. No pressure to post often as it’s recognised that long-form takes more time and effort. It would work by posting links to our videos in the chat, so we know where to find them. You can PM or reply below if interested. I would need your mobile number to add you to Whatsapp.

@rachelknox Hi Rachel, I like the idea of this group, but I realized today why I didn’t want to do it and that’s because I don’t like Whatsapp. I’m not sure exactly what it is, maybe it’s because it’s not intuitive to me and it’s annoying to me because it’s just one more thing I get notified about. I am relatively digitally savvy as I do have two fairly successful YouTube channels. Is there some other way we can stay connected like perhaps a Messenger group or email? Thank you.

There is a group on reddit called NewTubers, that I’ve checked out a few times it seems pretty useful.

@solstice-elliott Thanks for your message. You can turn off notifications so you just check when you feel like it. What I like about Whatsapp is that it allows you to create a community group and within that group we have an Instagram and Youtube group which makes it easy to manage and allows the two groups to be connected. Messenger or email wouldn’t work as well for this sort of set up and would be messier in my opinion. But maybe you could start one of your own with a set-up that you prefer
