How do you advertise?

Dear All,
I am a long time practitioner, since 2012 I never had a problem getting clients, until recently.
I never had to advertise and I don’t even know how and where. I got my clients thru the official Dolores Cannon website. And now they are all gone.
Any suggestions?

Hi Lana,
The most common ways clients find us is through word of mouth or from podcast interviews we’ve done. Getting on some bigger podcasts has helped enormously, and then, after conducting so many sessions, we end up getting word of mouth referrals.
One thing I will say, though, that took us a bit to learn, is that our client load is cyclic. Our guides have said on many occasions that when we go through a down cycle (few-to-no clients), it is purposeful. We are being gifted with time for self reflection, rest, and just being human. :u+2764:
So, that has helped us to stop worrying about the down cycles.

Google local business, it is free, but you need to put ‘past life regression” and you can add QHHT but nobody is looking for QHHT except for Dolores fans and they go to the official website. Business sucks for everybody, it is an election year and the inflation is very high and people do not have enough money to buy groceries and pay bills. Plus whatever following you have on social media, but they are only good for online sessions, so if you are doing classic QHHT in person – you will lose tonnes of potential clients in other countries, not affected by American politics.

On Google Local Business or Maps you can hide your address if you do not want it on the Internet, they allow it for businesses going to client’s locations like plumbers or party artists. Just check ‘hide my address”. But they need your address for Google to send you a card with a verification code. For a big city like NYC you will get a lot of inquiries, but it will be specifically for past life regression as a lot of people are interested in it, and you might consider doing shorter/cheaper sessions, as these are folks who never tried hypnosis before and they do not want to commit to a long expensive session, 2-3 hours max.

@allison-brown how do you get the podcast interviews? Would you be willing to share how you reach out to them and what you say to them to get on their show? Like what’s your email subject line. Thanks!

@solstice-elliott, I started by finding podcasts that I enjoyed and whose topics and guests aligned with my subject area of expertise. I went with those who had a large-ish audience but not so large that I was competing with big name guests. Love Covered Life, JeffMara podcast, and Kevin Moore show were the first three that really helped get us some exposure. As time went on, various other (often random) podcasts popped on my radar, and I would reach out if so led.
For example, the Journey On podcast started out being all about horses/horse training, etc. I had never heard of it. But one episode had an animal healer on and a friend mentioned that episode to me. So, I wrote Warwick (host) thinking I could talk about our pet channeling book. Turns out, he said yes, and we didn’t even cover the animal info – he wanted to talk about the galactic stuff we’ve channeled! His viewership is over 20,000 (people who actually watch, not just subscribers), and we were literally booked with clients every day for about 5 months after that show.
Then, I crafted a letter that looked like this: first parag explained why I resonated with them/their show -what I loved about their show; second parag was a brief intro about Will and I and what we’ve accomplished; third parag was why I think their viewers would be interested in what we’d like to share; last parag was a thank you and closure, along with our contact info and links so they could do more research about us if they wanted.
When you approach it from the excitement of wanting to get great info out to a wider audience, to connect with viewers, and/or to have high-level conversations with podcast hosts, it reflects in your letter of introduction. In other words, if you sound like you just want to get on the show to sell a book or boost website traffic, it’s not the same energy. I only reach out to those I really resonate with and am excited about connecting with.
I paste the letter in the body of my email to them (or in a contact form on their website), with the subject line of Intro and podcast request, or something along those lines. And then I let the universe work out the details 🙂

He there @lana-petrov, what I started doing was local network marketing groups. In my area there are several free ones to attend and there are many to join. I do both and the more times you get your face and name in front of them and share who your ideal client is and how you assist people the more they will learn about your and how you can serve the community. I stumbled upon this in my area and as I did I learned that there are community Facebook groups where people reach out for help in many areas, not only do I now recommend friends and owners of businesses I frequent but as I’m on there I can offer my services to people who are looking for holistic approaches to their own needs, physical, mental and emotional. I of course don’t promise but I do send them my contact information, website, email, link to this healer site where they can read reviews and learn more. It’s helped people learn about quantum healing and given people different options that in my community many never hear about.
Hope this helps.

One last question @allison-brown what did you use in the subject line of your email to ask to collaborate? Like what was your hook so you’re email doesn’t get skipped over. Did you say “Looking to Collaborate” or “I’d like to be Interviewed on Your Podcast” thanks again

@solstice-elliott I think I just said something like, introduction and podcast request.
I really trust the universe to coordinate the people that we need to intersect with so I don’t worry too much about logistics.

i did notice practitioners who post their sessions on youtube showing their faces (not the client one) have a lot of clients, for exemple there is a french woman who do hypnosis past lives regression post some of her sessions on youtube, she is fully booked until next febuary (i know it because i requested a session with her) and she have a lot of clients because she post 2 or 3 session a week and let the client shoose to post the session or not (means many clients don’t want to share those sessions), i think youtube is a great way to promote your activity if you bring something interesting to viewers like past lives regression and active sessions, it’s like a web serie for the viewers (let’s be honest it’s intertaining, but not only, those session share healing energies for all the viewers, i personnaly understood a lot bout myself watching those)
some of us won’t agree with this way of doing, but for those who agree, it’s a good way to promote the activity, without forgeting to mention BQH, Candace Craw-Goldman and the website it bring good things to everyone.
