  • Law of Attraction Magazine is sending individual Notifications.

Candace Craw-Goldman Posted by Candace Craw-Goldman on 2017-08-09 at 8:17 AM

    Hello Everyone

Someone named Dean is sending notifications to some members of our Directory. Has anyone read or know about this magazine?

We wanted you to know that – this is NOT a Spam notification in our system- meaning this- this is not an automated message sent by a machine or program that has blanketed the practitioners in our Directory. This person is personally choosing and sending the following message one-by-one to individuals. So while not technically Spam- he is not apparently looking to have a session but to sell us, and you ad space.

Maybe this is a fit for you, and maybe not.

With this notification, just like all of them you can (and should please) just click the accept or decline button to clear out the notifications in your profile.

This, below, is the message I got and apparently the same is being sent to many of you. If anyone has an opinion about the magazine or decides to take out ad space let us know.

    Thanks

[email protected], my name is Dean; I am with the law of attraction magazine. We are currently taking advertisers for the up coming holiday season issues of our magazine. We have special discounts available for a select few advertisers.. Here is our website:
Lawofattractionmagazine.net if you are interested in advertising to a large niche market please contact me directly. Our parent company is Law of Attraction radio network which offers weekly shows to a worldwide audience..

Lately I’ve been receiving advertisements that are slipping through the spam filters. Luckily it 1-2 a week.

Hey Barbara, this is why I posted this, there is NO such spam filter for someone personally and individually sending offers like this–just letting people know how and why they might get a message like this one.

    🙂

    Love,
    Candace

I think this is unavoidable…If your name appears in any large directory – you will receive calls and emails from people who try to sell you advertising, putting you on 1st page of google, credit card machine etc If they call you on the phone – you can call back and ask to take you off their calling list, if they call a lot – block their#.

Thanks for pointing that out Irina- this really IS unavoidable. This is an individual making individual inquiries- just like a potential client would for a session.

And ha ha Stephanie, nice to have a giggle this morning.

I received the same message from “Dean” (no last name) and something about it didn’t feel right (to me!) so I chose to ignore it and not respond at all. Thanks for putting this out there since it clarified things!

    Hi @Dianne_Leandres

You can and should “DECLINE” this client notification.

These notifications sit at stare at us from the Admin side- and its good to “Clear” them by accepting or declining- so it does not look to us like you are not looking at your account.

    Thank you!

Sorry Candace – I wasn’t clear on that! I actually immediately accepted the notification as soon as I received it so I could read what it was. I meant I just didn’t respond to his request after opening and reading it. Thanks!

I received a spam email through my website from this person. I threw it in the junk folder/trash.

    Thank you Candace.
