  • Length, structure and pricing of sessions

    Hi everyone,

I have been slowly doing sessions over the past 1-2 years, following the timing of my own journey.  However, I have lately been feeling a bit unsettled by a couple of things.  The length of my sessions and the time I spend with clients can vary quite a lot.  Sometimes the interview portion seems to need a lot of time (sometimes there can be a lot of understanding and healing with that portion alone).  This portion can take anywhere between 1-2.5+ hours.  Secondly, I don’t rush the sessions themselves too much, and try to allow them to unfold as it is meant to, while also trying to address all or most of the client’s items.  Overall, I can spend anywhere from 4-9+ hours for a session.  Although I love this work immensely, spending 9+ hours can be draining…

With that said, this feels a bit off and obviously pricing is challenging!  Also, speaking with potential clients about pricing can be a challenge given that the length of time can vary, and I try to explain this.   I have felt out or intuitively found a price point where I think things could balance out in an ok way (likely still lower than it should be), but things still feel off.

I know that I do have some personal things to work out internally regarding abundance, worth, etc (a work in progress!  Any advice on that would be appreciated as well!).  But I am wondering how and if you structure your sessions and how strict you are with this.  Also, do you price your sessions with one price or something else, like per hour, a sliding scale, or a suggested amount?  It would be helpful to know how you do this and how you find it works for you and your clients.  Of course, everyone will be different with this and I do love letting things flow, but when it comes to pricing, this is where things mainly feel off.

Perhaps this is a topic for a separate post on it’s own, but I am also considering doing shorter, more structured sessions at a cheaper price point (not sure how I would go about this yet!  It also doesn’t feel completely me as I love the flowy aspect – my background is engineering and I have been wanting to get away from too much structure!).  And then ones that have a higher price where I am more free to let sessions last however long seems best.

Phew!  I realize there is a lot there to unpack!  But any advice or sharing of how you handle these things would be hugely appreciated!  :u+2764: :d

With much love, gratitude, and joy!

    Carly

All great questions, I’m curious to see the answers myself as a new practitioner!

When I started giving sessions, I checked out practitioner pricing in my area. They were all around the same price so I priced myself accordingly.

I try to keep my “getting to know you” interview to about an hour. That said, if a person has a lot going on, it can go longer, sometimes much longer, but an hour is my goal though I never check the time. Hope this helps.

My sessions normally take 4hs. 1.5-2hs for the interview (not so much to get their story, rather to gain their trust and plant some subliminals to help the client let go of expectations and fears).

I rent a shared space and have kids so I wouldn’t be able to extend my sessions to 9hs- I have a clock I can easily see, so I keep the pace/timing.

re:pricing, same, I looked at practitioners in my area. Online sessions can be a bit shorter though and I don’t have the office expense, so for now I have them a bit lower, but it is something I’m definitely considering consolidating.

My longest session was 6 hours though most are closer to 3 hours. I focus on asking the SC, “what is important about this scene” and “is there anything else we need to know about this scene?” That prevents getting caught up in a scene which has little or no importance to the client and their intention for the session. My interviews usually run for 30-45 minutes. If your interviews tend to be long, you might consider having them in a separate appointment from the actual session. That would at least break up the 9 hour stretch. I’ve seen that some practitioners set time limits on their sessions as Julia seems to. My fee doesn’t vary – it would be hard to tell a client that the fee would depend on the length of the session. I hope this helps.

Hi Carly, are you BQH or QHHT?

As for myself, i offer QHHT AND my own QUANTUM REGRESSION sessions (which are similar to qhht but like a more advanced version with more freedom as in different scripts etc)

My QHHT sessions in the early years could take up to 7-8 hours and i did find that a lot of healing and transmutation was already happening during pretalks that lasted more than 2 hours!

But as my experience grew ( since 2013)  and overall energies evolved and my overall field expanded, i grew into more control over the sessions and  im skilled at keeping them at around 4 hours and my own QRsessions 3-4 hours.  Much better for client and myself aswell, leaving both of us energised and not drained;)

Over the years my offerings have evolved and expanded and i also offer several shorter modalities now. Such as Channeling sessions, Chakra- Aura balancing, and various type workshops and retreats that i love.

For my Regressions sessions ( QHHT and my own) i ususally have extensive contact by email or a short Zoom call w clients that sets them on their way and cuts the pretalk short, to one hour. It gives me a direct impression of where they are, their spiritual evolution and i get to connect to their field so i know already a lot about them that benefits any session;) Prior to their session they also receive a list of questions they have to answer before the actual session, to help us both anchoring the session in the quantum sphere and thus securing much better session outcomes!

My fees are set, they’re not depending on sessions duration but a fair price representing the depth and value of the work i deliver. Online is a fraction cheaper than in person for all the obvious reasons.

Through my socials i offer FREE monthly Online sessions, a one hour Live Channel Transmission calling in the energies of the moment and with the aim to raise global consciousness.  Its a way of giving back to society for me, to connect with more people and just generally offers a space of doing what i love with our Tribe;)

Find freedom in finding what works for you, find your own, unique style!

    Hope this inspires,

    with :u+2764:

@julia_israch  Thanks very much, Julia!  Hmm, food for thought!  If you have a 2 hour interview, then the main session would be about 2 hours.  This is much shorter than what I’ve been doing.  Again, food for thought…thank you so much for sharing!

@annette-bourget  Thank you very much, Annette!  Wow, 3 hours in total.  Ok, based on what you’ve said, I think I can wrap my head around how you do that.  Really making them efficient and getting to the main points.  Yes, I typically split up the interview portion these days.  I like that so that it gives room for things to settle a bit in between.  However, that also ends up likely resulting in longer sessions overall since the “niceties” are then in both meetings and I also check back in with them to see if they have any more points to add or if anything else has come up (usually there has been!).  Which is all beneficial overall, but not for the length of the sessions…you’ve also given me great food for thought, so thank you!

@alexandra-zwaal-kallos-2  Thank you for your in-depth response, it is very appreciated!  I studied both QHHT and BQH, but usually give sessions online.  I can definitely see how, in time, you would have more of a flow when giving sessions and control of them in terms of time.  I’d say my sessions sound more like your “Quantum Regression” sessions (apart from the length of time, of course!  😉 ).  Very interesting to hear about your progression with this and how things have evolved for you.  Yes, what you wrote was inspiring – I look forward to seeing how my journey continues to evolve in time!  Thanks again, it is very helpful for me 🙂 :u+2764:

    @carly-nichols so glad it resonated!

I loved the beginning of that whole quantum journey, where you are say, and made sure to never loose that sense of wonder, excitement and gratitude for that magical unfolding. Its not a destination, its an ongoing service, expansion and surrendering i would say, to your path, your souls calling, to the collective and to your Divine.

If youd like to share some more in-depths experiences, guidance etc im always here for a zoom call and connect if thats calling you. Im currently back in Spain, so we would just work out timezones and such 3D stuff and dive right in.

Have a radiant summer, beautiful Soul :u+2764:

    Hi @carly-nichols

I wanted to ask you a question about doing a longer “get to know you” part of the session, since I never took QHHT, only BQH. Do you ever notice a difference in your sessions, with the longer “get to know you” part?

The reason why I ask is because I believe I read somewhere that that will wear the client’s ego down, and by the time so much time passes, their ego is to tired to fight the SC, during the actual session process. Have you ever noticed that?

I was just curious to know. I hope you are doing well and that your sessions are flowing well these days!

    xo,

    Sarah

This is why I still have open ended sessions. Dolores was always asked… “How long start to finish do one of these sessions last?” Some people simply need more time! But I am not sure there are any absolute ways to determine this before or during a session or whether or not the “ego” will be a problem. I have been surprised so many times about who lets go and who does not.

Dolores always answered the question in the same way, “It takes as long as it takes.”

My own personal “record” was 12 hours. But not because that session was difficult. But Because it was MAGICAL!
