Problems with email links and website access

1) The last 3 or 4 days my email notifications are arriving with a simple link to the website, not the full link to a particular post.
2) When I click the link, or if I type the address in a browser, I get ‘server not found’.
If I switch on a VPN I can access the forum, however the emails still arrive without the full address link to posts.
I live in UAE. I have been using the forum regularly for a number of years.
I hope this is the correct place to post this.
Any idea why this could be?
