I ask all of my clients to write a review and I find nearly all of them say they will (and say so enthusiastically) but the percentage of people who actually DO write a review is actually rather small.

This is human nature.

Now, here is something you can do, have you traded sessions with another practitioner? Have THEM write a review for you!

You can even have someone write a review on another service or for another reason than a session! Why not?

Reviews are not posted on your listing until you ACCEPT THEM. Much like client leads, you have to ACCEPT a review for the information to show.

As I m still “giving” my time or trading it (free hair cut from my hair dresser, free yoga class… in exchange for a session 🙂

I have asked the next client to bring a nice cover as the last one felt a bit weird leaving me without giving anything so I told her not to worry, that my payment would be that I promised to come and visit her … in Greece… as that was her message/vision during the regression… to move there…

I also ask them to donate 4h to someone in need but from now on I will also automatically also ask for a recommendation and we ll see but so far I got only promises and no review….

Humans promise a lot of things and do not follow through. Some are like that anyway. I find that most “mean” well and simply- get busy and forget and don’t make it a priority.

I would think if you stated clearly up front that you are doing this FOR a review– instead of money, that you might be more successful.

There are a couple of practitioners who have uploaded previous reviews- themselves using their own email addresses and then accepting them. I haven’t done this, but you can if you feel guided.

If it were me – I would ask previous clients if it were okay, and maybe add the new link… they would even update their review when they reply- which would be a bonus.

You could just copy and paste their previous, with the link, they could simply agree, submit themselves their previous review, or even update…

A couple of ideas for you there anyway.

Sounds great, but I could not connect to that link. I tried three different ways. And tried my own name. I’m a newbie here so there is likely something that I don’t understand something.

Coralie, please don’t feel shy to remind the clients to write review. Some really want to write but writing is not easy for everyone. They might want to write super review and then too stressed and forgot. This happened to me and finally i did get reviews. I had written reviews for practitioners. One of these took me a year!

One of my clients decided to write his recommendation in English so it’s barely understandable but so sweet of him to have tried to match the language of the website 🙂
I thanked him and asked if he did not mind to write one in French as the main customer base for me will be french but he did not and in the end I kind of like what he wrote because it came from the heart

By the way, it also makes sense to ask your happy clients to copy and paste the review to your Facebook Business page and Google Local Business page if you have those. Just email them these links so they do not have to look for them.
