I’m at a loss and would VERY much appreciate any assistance! I really want to start to make/upload YouTube videos whether they be from an audio file or video and whether they be meditations or sessions. I have downloaded many programs but cannot seem to wrap my head around any of them. Everyone is making such nice videos with great intro’s so I’m feeling very much behind the times in my struggles. I’m at the point where I’m hoping to just hire someone as I’m just not getting anywhere. Anyone looking to earn an extra income or just know of someone who might?

    Hi Christine

Doing videos yourself is very hard work, especially if you are doing everything yourself and it is all a journey of discovery.

making the video number one is hard work, and the editing is extremely time consuming.

It will be great if you can do a video in one perfect go that requires no editing, but most of the time you will need an editing programme to assist you. I will most definitely follow this thread as I’m sure there will be a lot of great information here for you and we are always learning from each other.

I use the editing programme called AVS Video Editor. I paid a small fee for lifetime usage of the programme, but I know there are better ones out there.

For intros there are a lot of companies that do intros free and paid, but for free basic intros you can customize, I have used Flixpress in the past and sometimes still do.

What programmes have you tried using?

Christine are you aware of this video we made for practitioners?

Video editing, even basic editing is a TIME intensive process! I’d love myself to hire someone to do this for me and BQH and QHwC shows… but alas it is only me who can do this at the moment.

I currently use Filmora because — there are excellent tutorials avaiable on Youtube.

    Good luck.

(PS sent you an email today on another matter, thanks~)

@Chrysilla_Lewies I’ve tried several programs such as 4 different Corel products, NCH Suite, Ocenaudio, Shotcut, Videopad and VideoStudio. None we’re recommended necessarily; I chose them merely due to their being free downloads as I didn’t want to pay for something that I couldn’t understand and use. In your videos, as an example, did you make your own intro? Yours was actually one that stood out for me – it’s beautiful!

@Christine_Shanesy yes, I do make my own intros with the help of software such as Adobe After Effects or the more easier ones I started with was Flixpress.

@Chrysilla_Lewies thanks! I’m going to set aside a day and give all of this another try with the programs you’ve mentioned. It helps to know that others, like yourself and Candace, also deem this difficult – helps me to not feel like a dumbass! Ha! <3
