I have realized how many people have limited knowledge of how to manage their own website and it was kind of daunting to me as well. So I was looking around for cheap hosting and came across IONOS. I got super cheap hosting and a free domain name. Most of us starting out want a cheap option to start with and also need it to be easy to set up. I will be focusing on WordPress as your website framework. WordPress is a no brainer.

I got super cheap hosting and a free domain at IONOS, here is a link to their website:

    https://www.ionos.com/hosting/webhosting?ac=OM.US.USf11K357091T7073a&kwk=612488821

Just follow along with their prompts and it will be easy to set up WordPress by yourself. Ready carefully through the prompts. Be careful though when setting up WordPress. They will bring up a page to give you two options. The first option is managed for you for $10 a month, but obviously the focus is to keep it cheap so be sure to choose the option where it is managed by yourself, the second option on the page. Be sure to click the option to manage your wordpress yourself.

Now that WordPress is set up here is a video link to Tyler Moore‘s video of how to set up your WordPress site easily:

I have been watching his videos for years and he helps you set up your website to look really great for free in WordPress. He has plenty of other videos with other themes, but basically you can use any theme you like as long as its compatible with Elementor.

Hope this helps those of you who want a cheap website and want to manage it yourself. It is really easy once you get the flow of it.

I use http://www.weebly.com which is FREE, you only pay for the domain name, it allows simple DIY building your site from templates, you just drop and drag pictures, paragraphs etc. But the best thing of all – it does search engine optimization for you, you only need to add your keywords. SEO costs a lot of money if you have to pay somebody. Wix.com is also free to build and host the site, but they do not provide SEO.
