    Hi all,

There has been a few occurrences recently of practitioners getting SPAM block warnings from the Forum. Let me tell you what’s happening and what we’ve done to alleviate some of it.

As you all know, sometimes outside email accounts get ‘hacked’ and they start sending (sometimes flooding) bogus emails out to everyone in the hacked email accounts’ address book. You may have noticed this rarely happens on the Forum, even though we have very large message traffic. The reason we enjoy this is because the Forum platform restricts the speed at which you can post multiple messages, previously limiting you to 1 post within 3 minutes and if you exceeded that, the Forum would send you a warning and then restrict you from posting for 5 minutes.

We have worked with the Forum support people and now have that limit reduced. For all of you ‘speed’ posters, you may now make 2 posts within 90 seconds and if you exceed that you will only be restricted from posting for 2 minutes. That should still keep us safe from hacker spam flooding while still giving you speed posters the freedom you desire, and if not you only need to do a 2 minute meditation while you wait, instead of a 5 minute one. 🙂

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Kindest regards,

    Candace

    Hi Candace,

Has this anything to do with postings now going into my ‘Junk’ mail? This has been happening for the last few days.

    With blessings,
    Ilona

    Hi Ilona,

No, email notifications going into your junk or spam folders is a function of your email settings, spam protection settings or your ISP. When you see a message that you want in your junk/spam folder there is usually a way to ‘mark’ it as not junk/spam. The other thing to do is add [email protected] to your address book. That usually helps get those emails thru your protection filters.

    kind regards,

    Candace
