The issue with LBL listings and a suggestion for a new category
Recently I was looking through LBL listings in our directory (hoping to find somebody to trade QHHT for LBL on my travels), and I noticed that there are some practitioners who never took TNI class who claim to be TNI certified LBL hypnotherapists. I run some names through TNI directory, and sure enough, they are not listed. For starters, you have to be a certified hypnotherapist to be accepted into this programme. The term “Life between Lives” and abbreviation LBL is trademarked to the Newton Institute and you are infringing on their trademark if you claim to be LBL practitioner when you are not a TNI member. It is a very expensive/exclusive program, and we have some practitioners on this forum who are TNI members. (not me) It is unfair to them to claim certification you do not have, and to the clients who read MN’s books and want ‘by the book” LBL session…If you chose this modality by mistake – maybe you should just remove it to avoid misrepresentation.
I have a suggestion – for people who took Karen E Wells class on Udemy University or practice “Between Death and Life” journeys in QHHT, or use any other “Afterlife exploration in hypnosis” modality – maybe we should have “Between Lives Regression” (all modalities) as a name of the listing in addition to “LBL trademarked”? Karen E Wells uses it as a name of her class, but I do not think it is trademarked. This way all of us who take clients into Afterlife can choose this modality without infringing on trademarks and copyrights? This way prospective clients will know that there are other modalities allowing access to Afterlife, not only LBL, and we do not have to lie and misrepresent ourselves?
And 2 more categories I want to suggest – Akashic Readings and Mediumship. Both are way beyond ‘psychic readings”, as most people associate “readings” with Tarot cards and fortune telling.
