  • What is your “elevator pitch”?

    Hello Beautiful Beings!

I was wondering what your best elevator pitch is. How do you summarize what it is we do as BQH practitioners?  Every time someone asks me what BQH is, I say something different.  I think maybe I’m trying to come up with something they’ll understand instead of just being true to myself and this work.  How would I really know what they would understand anyway?  How do you look at it, are you planting seeds? Piquing interest? Do you hand them a card and invite them to learn more? Currently I say, “it’s a heart-based energy healing modality similar to hypnosis therapy or deep meditation where we can access your sub conscious or higher self, to seek the answers to your life questions.”  Something like this.  I think people get weird with the mention of hypnosis.  I work with pilots and they’re so left brained and analytical, how might you interest them in this work? They sure could use it!   Thank you for your advice and wisdom!

I say I help people access healing and answer big life questions by going straight to the source, their Higher Self, who has all the answers and knows everything about them, even their life’s purpose, and has a record of every life they’ve ever lived.

Verbatim—that’s exactly what I say… no experience with pilots though! Good luck! 🙂

    These are great!

For me, “hypnosis” is easier to say around analytical people than “heart-based” or “healing.”  :d   I’m grappling with the idea of using “higher self” in front of my 92yo Mom. 😮

I will create different elevator pitches for different people. Thank you for inspiring me to think about this and showing me your well-written ones to use as a templates.

@claire_timberlake That’s a good point.  Having different pitches for different people.  It’s just having different tools, different words to get the same point across.  It’s less “saying what they want to hear” and more “discovering what resonates with different people”

I typically say the word hypnosis – people get intrigued. Then I tell them that I take clients to a deep state of relaxation, where their analytical mind takes a little break and we get to access memories, get to the root cause of any issues they are experiencing and then we have an open dialogue with their soul, to figure out their life’s purpose and any other questions they may have. From that very deep state of relaxation it is very easy to access their inner guidance.

I have found that most people, even non-spiritual, understand the concept of soul, hypnosis, and life’s purpose – so they aren’t too “woo-woo”. The simpler the words… the better!

If you’re uncomfortable saying higher self, what about subconscious?

Below is the description I use on my website. In person, I adapt the language and explanation to suit them as far as I can.

QHHT/BQH involve inducing a deep state of relaxation to access the subconscious mind and explore past lives, spiritual experiences, the future, and higher states of consciousness. Through this process, clients can gain a deeper understanding of their current life challenges, connect to their higher self and guides, and receive guidance and healing.

Love this @adrienne-chadwick!! I love using the terms “Hypnosis” and “Hypnotherapy”.  I have looked through many websites of the practitioners on here, and adopted certain details from their FAQs, because I felt that will help me better express myself to others.  Things people might ask that I personally wouldn’t have thought to ask.   Asking them if they are familiar with any type of energy work sometimes helps you find a little about how much they know.

very interesting questions, i just named it intuitively ” multi-dimensionnal travel to access to all answers the being request” , consciousness travel ect because traveling and discovering is what i love and passionate about.

and i find it pretty cool to say like that because it’s how i see life and it fit with Candace teachings in a way. i still struggling with the heart connexion (trust issues) i know i have to heal some parts of myself too, i think we should never forget that we heal ourselves by healing others and heal others by healing ourselves

    good luck to you

I am still batting this around.  On my website, explanation is as below, right after I describe hypnotherapy, which I also do.

I’m sure I will change it again as I continue on in my own experience and learning.  Great thing about a website, conversations, life in general – We can keep changing it up as time goes on!

Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) is also gentle, but uses a deeper pre-session relaxation and perhaps a more thorough pre-session exploration of a client’s experience, history, and desires around a set of questions and intention they bring to the session. I offer this as a single session that typically lasts about 4 hours, though sometimes may be a bit shorter or longer. BQH goes deeper than the subconscious and inner self. I believe BQH allows us to touch and communicate with the part of ourselves that is connected to something greater, whatever we may call that. Some names may include spirit, collective consciousness, the soul, God-consciousness, the spirit that moves in all things, the Universal Truth, the atman…Or many other names, feelings, or ways of thinking about it could be used. Some clients experience this connection firsthand and when they do, it typically feels real, comfortable, and very natural. Other clients come away from a session with more practical experiences, insights, or new understandings about themselves and their questions and are equally grateful for the experience.  I don’t decide or guide the experience a client has.  The  client’s conscious mind also does not direct the experience.  The experience and journey is determined by their own inner being.  I prepare the  way, then accompany the client as a skilled support and guide throughout the session.   I recommend a BQH session for someone who is ready to go deep to find answers or insight to current questions they are holding within them. Sometimes the insights and answers are immediate. Other times they roll out over weeks or sometimes even months after a session.

I wait until someone says, “What’s that smell?” then I quickly introduce myself with “spirit fingers” and “jazz hands”.  I end by saying MARKETING! and holding out a contract.

Yes, I might get my marketing technique from the Aristocrats.  No, it doesn’t work.  Next I’m trying the Underpants Gnomes model.  Phase 1: Collect underpants.  Phase 2: ??  Phase Three:  PROFIT.

I’m on phase 2 so far.
