  • When did you start charging for sessions?

As there are no set ‘case study’ requirements with BQH, I’m wondering when people launched their business and started to charge for sessions? I have a few people lined up who I know, and will conduct practice sessions on them at first, but wondering what others did business-wise? Thank you

    Hi Amie,

I had heard that QHHT practitioners were required to submit 20 or 25 practice sessions or something? Not sure if that’s true, however, it sounded like a sensible approach. It worked amazingly well for me, because each of those 25 free sessions provided me with another nugget of learning. Each one was unique in some specific way, giving me a broad base of practice. It was most definitely orchestrated by my Higher Self and guides and I’m grateful for their guidance!

I have to agree with Allison- since I studied both qhht and bqh sort of in parallel, I had the 25 session requirement, and I found it to be incredibly helpful. So much happened, easy amazing clients, the toughest sessions and everything in between. I highly recommend giving yourself all the practice you can get. There’s a fb group where people offer free sessions, you may be able to get good subjects that way (quite different from working with friends and family)

@julia_israch I totally agree with doing more practice! I myself completed the course on 7/4, so I am new to it all as well. Can you link to that FB group please? TIA!!!

Thank you all! I was thinking to follow the 20-25 case study approach too. Great to hear it worked well for others

When you feel ready. Personally, I did 30 free sessions after level 1 QHHT, went to a level 2 workshop, and started charging after that. Nowadays they have all these new rules with ‘internship” – so you have to do a certain amount of free sessions to be listed even as level 1, or go to a level 2 workshop with fewer free sessions (which I think is the better idea as you get more clients as level 2 and know more scripts) For BQH you can start charging when you want – there are no obligatory internships. But if you are unsure – use the “suggested donation” system. But you will get tired of it pretty quickly, especially when working online, as many clients will stiff you after an online session not paying you anything or very little. So you will start demanding online sessions to be prepaid with a fixed fee. In-person I never had a client not paying me – donation or charge, I do not ask for money upfront as I never had a problem.
