    Hello Lovelies!

I was just curious – where do you all practice your Quantum Healing? At home, at a commercial office space, at the clients’ home, at your own clinic? So far I have been practicing at home but starting to think of expanding if necessary. I would like to know how many of you prefer working from home, and the pros and cons in your experience of working from your home space versus renting a commercial office or clinical space.

Basically just brainstorming out loud! Thank you so much for sharing your input! So grateful for this forum!

Samiksa : I mostly do it from my home. This works for me especially on weekdays, because I don’t have to spend time in travelling after finishing my day job. I also like it this way, because then I can prepare my space my way. At times, I go to client’s places. This is fine in a way that I don’t have to be overtly concerned for client’s safety since they don’t have to drive or if they are totally grounded. The disadvantage is the space, some times, I have see the space is not very clean or the ambience is not what I would like it to be. I had considered sharing office space with someone but that did not work out for me for the reason that I sometimes do sessions on weekdays. <3

I have been doing sessions from my home for the past 3 & 1/2 years. I like conducting sessions from a room in my home because:

    – comfy ambience and lovely energy, and you can set up the space just the way you like it because you don’t have to share it with other professionals or have a potential clinical feel to your room.
    – I can keep my prices more affordable because I have less overheads
    – I’ve been doing this full time since I started and regardless of male or female I’ve never felt unsafe. Any uneasy vibes would come well before they walk in the door, therefore although it happens rarely, never be afraid to say to a client “I don’t feel I am the right practitioner for you”.
    – sometimes if a client is bedridden I will do home visits on specific days and for an additional fee.

On the negative side as a mum with a daughter, pets and hubby, it’s difficult at times to always have the house in a perfectly clean and immaculate state 24/7 and my dream is to one day soon buy our own house and convert the garage to my hypnosis room /toilet so that I dont have to have my clients in our personal living space which is a bit tricky sometimes when you do sessions in the weekends and your family have to tippy toe and try to be quiet around your hypnosis sessions when you feel like the walls of the rooms in your house are paper thin. ?. For that reason I do 90% of my sessions on weekdays when there is no one else in the house but my client and I.

Mostly at home, but I am in a very central location, which is both a plus (walking distance for tourists) and a minus (hard to find parking). I also go to French Quarter hotels to do sessions with tourists (saves me cleaning time, plus hotel room is usually is very neutral)
I do not want an office. They do not have beds, and I am myself very uncomfortable having a session on a massage table, and I can’t put an overweight client on it for safety reasons, and I have quite a bit of people who come to mee primarily for weight loss plus they are curious about past lives…They do not go deep sitting on a chair. Office will be expensive and will have business hours, and I love working in the evening. I also do not want to ask for deposits, and if you pay for office by hour – you have to ask for non refundable deposit for the office rental.

Thank you all so much – so I am not alone in feeling that working from home would be so ideal. For example, I don’t want to deal with a landlord or signing papers – I’d rather all the rental cost for the sterile office space go to mortgage in my home which I can set up as a healing center with good energy. And I don’t really want to go to their homes because I feel the space I set up would have better energy.

I don’t know why I assumed that working from home is somehow “unprofessional” compared to some office space somewhere. Asking this question helped me realize I had some limiting beliefs about it. I feel more confident now knowing that you folks who have been practicing longer than me still prefer your home spaces compared to an office or clinical setting.

@Irina_Nola – I am so with you about choosing a bed versus a massage table or chair. For myself because I live in a small space I don’t have a permanent bed for clients but use a queen-sized tall air mattress which makes clients feel like they are on a fluffy cloud to start with. I am not sure it’s ideal for extremely overweight clients but so far so good.

@Jo_Woodland – I totally understand about the family having to be quiet. I live alone right now which is great for QHHT but I live in an apartment and sometimes there is construction work being done in neighbouring suites. But the main issue is that I have a dog. For a few sessions we tried with my dog there – she is actually a therapy dog too so she was fine. But after a few sessions she started getting antsy and didn’t want to rest during the session which disrupted everything. Definitely better to not have a dog in the room – it just makes things easier.

@Karuna_Chinchkhede – I hear you about the clients’ spaces not being clean or with good ambiance. As an empath I would really find that so draining. On the other hand I always make sure to clear my own space extra after clients leave my home – no entities or spirits should be lingering around here!

    Thank you all again!
