"Will I still owe you $ if I am not able to be regressed with your assistance?" My response.
I know this topic has been discussed before. I just got this message/inquiry on this forum. I took the time to email a lengthy response and thought I’d share it here, in case it’s helpful. Feel free to copy/paste/personalize. All of you long-time Super-Practioners out there, please add the things you say. When I was new, I would’ve had no idea how to respond. My main message to new practitioners when you hear this is 1. Be Honest. 2. Offer what you have. (examples below). 3. We always have each other’s backs—whether new, experienced or in-between.
Original message;
Hello, I had an experience with a QHHT practitioner within the last week but I was not able to be hypnotized.
The main reason for my scheduling of any QHHT session is for the healing through hypnosis.
Will I still owe you $ if I am not able to be regressed with your assistance?
My response;Hi,First of all, I am sorry you did not have the experience, or receive the healing you were looking for in your session. I offer you compassion and light for that frustration. My response is going to be looooong, so buckle in ?.First; Yes, many practitioners charge clients for the time they spent trying to help them, much as other healing modalities like massage therapists, doctors, counselors, etc. do. Even when the client’s healing expectations are not met.Because every person is vastly different, what it takes to facilitate healing for them can vary… a lot.A good example is the Naturopathic Doctor I see. Sometimes she has to try quite a few different things to address my healing needs, and it can take several appointments, and working on the layers before we get to the core issue. I pay her for her time even if what we tried did not provide relief or healing. I hope that makes sense to you.At the same time, I totally hear your frustration of spending money on something and not getting what you thought/hoped you paid for. I get it.Sometimes it’s the inexperienced practitioner, sometimes its client blocks, and often, the combination of both.Here are some truths/misconceptions about hypnosis;-Hypnosis is simply a brainwave state. (Theta or Alpha if you want to look them up)It basically feels like deep relaxation. There is no “feeling” of being hypnotized, other than being relaxed and open enough that you can access other realms of consciousness.-Hypnosis is not amnesia.People who don’t remember what happened under hypnosis, were programmed to not remember. Stage hypnotists give suggestions (program) the individual to forget, or not be aware of what they’re doing, so they can get them to step out of their comfort zone and do funny things. Healing hypnotists don’t program for that because we want you aware of what’s happening, and to remember it. It does fade like a dream for most people but that’s why we give you a recording of the session.-Hypnosis (the ability to get into, or maintain the theta brainwave state) can be blocked.Pharmaceuticals and various substances, like even caffeine, can jack with the brain functions. We can have emotional blocks (like fear), physical blocks (like intense pain), mental blocks (like not being able to give up control) and even spiritual blocks (inability to connect with our inner light/higher self/source). Also, someone who does not want to be hypnotized, cannot be. The person must always be in complete agreement to the process from beginning to end, so if that level of trust for the practitioner is not there, mistrust will be a block. Most of these blocks can be worked with depending on the knowledge/experience of the practitioner. It can take time and practice to remove the blocks.A good “test” for being able to be hypnotized is meditation. If you can meditate (hold focus, or calm the mind) then being hypnotized should come easy.-Hypnotherapists have all levels of “tools” in they’re toolkits.Like every profession, there are beginners to advanced. Some of them keep learning and growing and adding tools, some don’t. Again, trust matters. The deeper the rapport and trust between practitioner and client the deeper of trance state the client will relax into.I charge $200 for a session and yes, I charge even when the client doesn’t get what they came for. This has happened twice for me. The clients left with an understanding of what needs to happen/change in order for them to be hypnotized, and plenty of ways to practice/work with/find healing for what the block was. We will try again when they are ready.If you’re interested, this weekend I have a group regression scheduled. I co-lead groups with my sister Diana and my friend Holly, both of whom are also QHHT practitioners. It costs $25 and I do a bit of teaching and practicing with visualizing before we get people into the trance state. It might be a great way for you to work with relaxing into trance states and see if you can get some info and healing without spending so much time/money. At the least, you could meet me and two other practitioners and ask all the questions you want and see if you want to do a session with one of us. Here is the link to it on Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/quantum-connection-groups-pastother-life-review-tickets-49629296562I’d love to meet you and hear more of your story. Also, if you search “Quantum Connection Groups” on Eventbrite you can see the other types of sessions we offer. One of them is Healing Focused, though healing can happen in all.I have a free podcast. I recommend start with my intro and going forward bc the topics build on each other.https://thespiralpath.podbean.com
Here is a basic article from the Quantum Connections fb page on “What is QHHT/BQH” that might provide more understanding.https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=467741897071002&id=467694133742445&__tn__=K-R
