Hi, I’m Joy, it’s lovely to meet you!

It would be my pleasure to work with you and the animal/s you share your life with. To reassure you, here’s a bit about my background: I grew up as a Lancashire Lass – you may notice a northern twang! Then, after university (BSc Hons Politics, 2:1) I spent 16yrs working in London’s corporate machine but by 2014, I was disillusioned and searched for a more meaningful connection.

By 2016 I had retrained as a professional Dog Trainer and set up Joyful Dogs Training  (http://www.joyfuldogs.co.uk) – to help humans  understand their dogs better by learning to ‘speak dog’!  Joyful Dogs continues to thrive but in 2025 coincidence and two ongoing health issues led me to book a spiritual healing session, which I can only describe as miraculous! The alopecia and lymph gland issues I’d endured for over 20 years – which no medics had been able to remedy – improved radically. It was incredible, and such a relief. I am very grateful to the incredible healer and her guides for their gentle, wise care. In fact, I was so astonished by their ‘energy healing’ I decided to study it for myself.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from some incredible practitioners (human and animal!) – including Sandra Green, James French (Trust Technique), Pea Horsley, Tammy Billups and some extremely wise cats, dogs and horses. I am now a qualified Animal Reiki healer and certified Animal Communicator. I believe these 2 modalities offer additional ways to support our pets – and indeed all animals.

​Understanding how to work with Spirit, to channel the universal wisdom (available to us all) has opened my mind and my heart. It would be my pleasure to work with you and the animals you share your life and your love with.
