Charge for online & in-person

Does anyone differentiate charges when it’s in-person/office and when online/zoom? It’s the same work for me; however it may be shorter when BQH.

I charge the same even though i prefer online and online sessions are less work for me. They’re less work since i don’t need to clean up the whole apartment before and after. But i do use pricing to help steer clients to the types of sessions that i prefer to do in other ways.

Thank you Roos. I understand you said you charge the same. Then you say yours pricing to help see clients to the types of session that you prefer. Could you elaborate? Appreciate.
I have a separate space for in person and it’s not so hard to clean up. I prefer in person although, online is probably easier in the sense of time. I can spend over 5 hours in person.

I charge the same for online as in person. I am charging for my time and my expertise, both of which are used to maximum benefit in every session no matter the location.
The positive side to online sessions is it’s easier to end the session without it dragging on a little bit. They don’t have to get grounded again before they jump in their car and drive away. They can just drift around their house until they settle.
The difficulty in online sessions is the headset requirement. I know Candace doesn’t feel as strongly about this, but I have had sessions where it’s very difficult to hear the client when they roll their head to the side or they muffle their mic with the blanket if they are using those earphones on the strings with the mic in one of the strings.
You can tell them to speak up and they will but only for a moment. Then they go back to the very soft, somewhat inaudible speech.
A basic headset with a microphone attachment isn’t very expensive but I find people resist it. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Terrell, I agree I put the same amount of effort and work and prep w/client, so even though it may be easier (haven’t done many online yet), I am leaning towards pricing being the same. I am just testing the waters and wanted to get feedback on it. Thank you.
Those I’ve done online included receiving, seemed to go very well in terms of recording and hearing them. It may me my computer. I have a great MacBook Pro (gifted!) and the sound it great. I actually don’t hear a difference when I use my headset and the client uses one and when we don’t. When I received, the practitioner used a headset and I didn’t and I got a clear recording..could have been both our computers. And I haven’t done many. I test the sound with the client the times I’ve been practitioner to be sure.

I have a 27” mac desktop. It works fine. It’s the tech on the client’s side that creates differences.
As far as pricing, it’s a better deal for the client if they pay no travel/hotel expenses.

I charge the same. But yes, in person requires tidying that online does not.
Yes, sound issues can creep in for online sessions. I do a WHISPER TEST with every online client to see if I can hear them if they whisper. Most fail. Then I tell them that if they lower their voice to a point where I cannot hear or understand them I will HAVE to have them speak up or adjust… and “….that won’t bother or disrupt us at all if that becomes necessary.” Almost all the time this “pre induction” suggestion works like a charm.
Remember EVERYTHING can be a pre-induction suggestion. I will refer you to a recent post of mine that was focused on a persistent cough I was experiencing…https://quantumhealers.com/community/general-session-therapy-stories-and-advice/dolores-and-coughing/#post-177213

@candace Ah yes, Thank you for the reminder to do the ‘whisper test’. I seem to remember that in the course! I also love you got that download to tell your client that “With each cough you’ll find yourself releasing….” That’s what I love about BQH, as opposed to anything stricter, we can follow our instincts and intuitions and messages.

ahh yes what a good “suggestion”!
the Whisper test. I should probably review the whole course to find these little beauties that I have forgotten or never saw. Thank you!

The same, but I ask them to cover my Uber fee if they want me to come to their hotel, house, or Airbnb. When they want to drive from a nearby state or parish, I try to persuade them to work on Zoom, as those are very unreliable clients – the car can break down, there can be a thunderstorm, etc. If they insist on an in-person session, they have to book a hotel room at least for one night after the session. I am not comfortable letting them drive long distances after a hypnosis session due to ‘highway hypnosis” – as they can lose concentration driving on a highway after a hypnosis session.
