  • New Platform – receiving reviews is complicated

    This is something that I’ve noticed with regards to the new platform – I’d love to see if others are noticing the same thing.

    With the new quantumhealers profile page the way it is now, I have to explain to the clients where to go and click (depending on desktop version or phone – “if you’re using desktop then go to the left and look under the photo and list….”).

    Before it was very straight-forward with the individual review link that would send the person straight to the form to fill out.

    With the immediate form from before I often got pretty immediate (or within a week) feedback – probably about 80% of the time. I think this was partly due to the ease of use. 

    I have only had one person submit feedback now since the new page started.

    Is there any way to create a direct link that opens up the review box immediately?

    Otherwise the new platform is great!

    Hey Olivia, 

    I’m looking into it, we actually did have this available when we first launched but the auto-popup (with direct link) caused other problems and we had to disable it lest reviewing not work entirely.

    I’m going to go hunt down an update on this task and I’ll let you know!

    Olivia and all who may be reading….

    A gentle reminder about how and WHY all of these things are happening.

    We actually COULD have started CLEAN. I mean oh so clean, with a 100% working Forum with all the bells and whistles and ease of use and and and….

    But to do that we would have had to just shrug our shoulders and not include histories, past reviews or even…? Our extensive ARCHIVES.

    Our archives are PRECIOUS. All of these gyrations keep our archives available to you and to all future practitioners.

    If we did not care about THAT… things would run so much smoother. Remember some of our content comes before even the IDEA of a “forum” did not yet exist~

    Hello 🙂

    Just to be sure – I hope I didn’t come off as unappreciative. I’ve worked behind the scenes in the IT area for a big news company before, and even with plenty of money and resources, these projects take years. So you’ve all done a monumental and phenomenal amount of work.

    What also went unseen is that I emailed back and forth with the support team several times back in the winter. They invited me to keep in touch with what I noticed. I can definitely empathise with the work due to my experience in working together with people in this role.

    I wanted to ask on the forum because it was a situation I noticed, but wasn’t sure if I was alone with that experience (aka whether it relates to my personal abilities) or whether there were others who had noticed any difference in receiving reviews. There’s always the possibility that it’s more due to my work and not due to website structures..!

    Hi Olivia! 

    We’re most of the way there to getting this available. There’s a working direct link to reviews now for everyone, and it’s their directory page URL with /?review at the end. For instance yours is: https://quantumhealers.com/practitioner/olivia-sayward/?review

    What we’re missing is something in the dashboard that makes it easy for everyone to grab that link without needing to remember what it is. I’ll update when we’ve got it all the way fixed for better usability : D

    We now have a button on your dashboard where you just click the button and it’ll copy the direct link to your review form to your clipboard (so you can just paste it) 

    It’s located here on this page for everyone: https://quantumhealers.com/dashboard/ it’s the red button that reads “copy review link”
