Hello! The link I used to send to the customers to write reviews doesn’t seem to work in the new system. How do we ask customers for review in the new system?

It just took me 5 clicks to read what you wrote here Irene. Why did they make this so cumbersome???

@sarah Webb. I inadvertently deleted my post and then re-posted, but it looks like I missed your reply in the process 🙂 Could you please re-write your comments?

@roxanne-lenarz I know. It’s a bit complicated, as always with something new, but it looks like this system has more features, which is good. Just need time to adjust 🙂

Hey Irene,
Isn’t it always the way that things are working until someone asks about it?
The review forms arent behaving as nicely as we’d like for mobile users. In trying to fix that it’s been a 2 steps forward 1 step back cha-cha. So, until about 18 hours ago there was a direct link that pulled up the popup, yours would be: https://quantumhealers.com/practitioner/irene-erin-aslin/#modal-review
except we lost that function in the ‘step back’ this morning -.-
We’re working on getting it back without breaking the form.
Growing pains are fun, but we’ll get there!

I’d like to see a list of the new features. Now this time I got right in.

well, the biggest one – everything on one site.
We took 3 unconnected massive databases and combined them into a single site that contains a forum, LMS system for courses and a directory system for you and your clients.
That import process took several teams of developers the better part of 2 years to get right because of how complex lining up everything is. Imagine hundreds of thousands of tangled cables that needed to be straightened out and plugged into a new system. Combined with many users having used different email addresses on forum/directory/courses…getting each users content into their profile and only one profile was extremely complex.
You now have one login and one place to go to get to all your forum content, your directory listings and any courses you choose to take, that’s the biggest upgrade.
Here’s an incomplete list of new features off the top of my head:
- follow specific user options for the forum (like if you want to see every post I make you can follow me)
- leads notification system for you so you don’t have to login to accept the client lead, it just gets emailed to you
- client leads where the reply automatically replies to the client and not the automatic emailing system
- multiple payment gateways for memberships/courses
- users can directly submit blogs through their dashboard
- a dashboard system for announcements, easy access to the multiple parts of your account
- personal media libraries for both forum and directory content
- ability to add new modalities for users whenever we want
- multilanguage site options for the entire site, and best among that is that English content on the forum can be translated into several languages so that content can reach more people.
- keyword search for your directory listings so clients can find what they’re looking for better. Now you can search ‘dragons’ or ‘angels’ or any other specific focus and pull up directory listings containing those keywords.
- increased size for media uploads by users
- updated look of the site – because while we resided on other platforms we were at their mercy and had no ability to build what we actually wanted
There’s a lot more in terms of how we can actually grow the site with updated SEO options, more partnering abilities because we now control our site – which means we can better market for you to bring more clients to the directory and more practitioners to the forum community.
We’ve only been live 18 days on this new site. Despite months of testing, when you pour a thousand users into a new platform, you find interesting new bugs and things that need fixing and upgrading. It’s going to take a bit of time to get everything working smoothly, so thank you for your patience while we continue to get everything up and running!

@lauren Oh, no worries, take your time. I’ve been in IT corporate for many years so I know how new systems sometime are 🙂 Thank you for your quick response and hard work on issues resolution. Please keep us posted. Thank you!

I thought I’d comment in this thread, as it at least thematically has to do with receiving reviews! Is there a way to create a direct link for clients to immediately leave a review? (Like the way on the old site opened straight up to leaving a review)
The way it is now I have to explain to the clients where to go and click (depending on desktop version or phone), and I’m not having as much luck with receiving reviews. With the immediate form from before I often got pretty immediate (or within a week) feedback. I think this was due to the ease of use.
