When I first started practicing QHHT® back in 2010 my beloved teacher, the late Dolores Cannon, told us that one session was enough for a client and I believed her. She told us that she would spend as much as seven hours with each of her clients, if needed, although the usual amount of time she spent in a session would be around five hours.
Only having one session made perfect sense to me as that was quite a bit of time spent with just one person, but Dolores’ perspective was a very particular one because she was very famous and sought after with a multi-year waiting list for hypnosis sessions. She wouldn’t have had the time to see almost anyone for a second session, not to mention multiple sessions.
There are not many techniques out there that dedicate this amount of time to just one person, in just one session, so this showcases something very special about QHHT®; it focuses on that person in a deep way, on different aspects of their life that the client wants to illuminate, then they explore Past Lives and the connection and influence they might have had on the present life. Then, the most wonderful part of all in my opinion, the actual meeting of their own Highest Self, the aspect that knows everything about each of us, that can heal us, that can explain everything to us.
My first encounter with the desire for multiple QHHT® sessions was through my very own clients. Some of them requested multiple sessions from the beginning, and others after having their first session, decided to have another one and then after a period of time passed, to have another one, and so forth.
Among my clients, the one that has the record number of sessions is a wonderful and spiritual woman in Romania who came to me for a total of six sessions over a period of four years.
I have another case of a male client that requested three sessions right off the bat, and each of them were wonderful and none of them were like the others. Every time he would come in, he would shift his vibration because of all of the understanding followed by the integration of everything that took place in the initial session, so the next would be totally different, and the next also different from the second. I could see the change in him from one session to another, and that, in itself, is pretty amazing. It brings a great deal of satisfaction to a practitioner to help a client to become more clear about himself and his own life. It is a tremendous joy for us both!
There are other hypnotists out there that regularly offer multiple sessions to their clients. The most famous one that I know of is Dr. Brian Weiss. He held as many session as he considered necessary because, when one of his clients became stuck in a situation or, even worse, in a pattern, which means that they went through similar situations over and over again, he believed they truly needed multiple sessions to break the pattern.
One example of a pattern might be someone that has been through three bad marriages, and all three of them have the same sad circumstances, either the partner is drinking or cheating and they seem to attract only that type of a partner in their lives. Another example could be that someone gets into a situation where they “lose everything” more than once in their lives.
Dr. Brian Weiss is regressing his clients into many past lives to look for a pattern and that it is accomplished by completing many sessions. A pattern is actually defined as a situation that happens at least three times, so, when he finds a pattern through all those past lives, then he will move the focus away from the regressions and start to focus upon the pattern itself.
So apart from a repeating pattern, why would anyone want more than one session? The answer is pretty simple. It’s because the person feels like they want to do more than one. They want to continue to explore, to see more than one or two life times, They want to know themselves better in a way that reflects back to them from a totally new and fresh perspective, and that is very thing that is provided by this unique method we call QHHT®.
Another benefit is that all lives that a person sees in a session have always a connection with the present life which explains the cause of different things in that person’s life. And as the client grows and evolves, as a soul, after each session, the challenges and problems that they face in their lives change accordingly, so after a while people might feel the need to get another session that is focused on the new things that have surfaced.
Something that should be explained here is the need for time to “explore.” One can experience only so many other “lives” in a single session and the length of the time in which a person can be under hypnosis is limited. My session are, almost of all of them, between two and three hours.
Do I personally have a number of sessions that I recommend? No, I because I do not believe in one-size-fits-all prescriptions for healing or exploration. Every person is perfectly capable of feeling and deciding that they need or want a new session. So it is actually impossible to dictate how many sessions one needs. There are no set numbers. The sky’s the limit. I have heard of people that have seen up to forty past lives! People who do spiritual work can benefit from this.
I personally have benefited from seven session so far, and I am planning to have more over time. I love them because they are full of wisdom! And that wisdom helps me in my own life. I truly believe that more than one QHHT® session can indeed be beneficial as one opens up with each session, and receives more pieces of the puzzle that forms that bigger picture of their lives, completing each one offers progression and deepening of self-knowledge and insight
